Day 4

Day 4 started with the tree people and their huge crane coming in to fell some of the trees on Randall's front lawn to enable easier access to the front of the building. Soon, the center facade was history.

I had a visit with 87 year young former NH School Head Bud Moore the same day, and he told me that he had actually lived in Randall as a senior at NHS in 1938. He lived in what was called "The Penthouse" on the 4th floor in the middle section. The middle section only had stairs going up to the 3rd floor, so the Penthouse was accessed by the end staircases.
